…::: What do you Want? :::…

This idea popped in my mind over the past weekend when I attended Bob Proctor’s Paradigm Shift event in Los Angeles. I decided to expand on this idea a bit. It is the idea of WANT.

We get everything we WANT. But first we need to understand that what we THINK we want, and what the MIND perceives as what we want are two different things. In order to align the two it all comes down to Self-Discipline which results in Self Control.

In New York’s Barns & Noble, I “randomly” stumbled upon the book The Compound Effect. I say randomly in quotes because it in fact wasn’t random. I have been searching for instructions / material to help me to become self-disciplined since the year started because trust and believe as an entrepreneur / businessman you need to develop this skill PRONTO! lol So since my MIND was focused on that, it ignored all the other personal development books and zoned in on this book. But our conversation is about Want and what you think you want. To expand on my idea I will read out a quote from this same book:

“Top people have very clear goals. They know who they are and they know what they want. They write it down and they make plans for its accomplishment.

“Unsuccessful people carry their goals around in their head like marbles rattling around in a can, and we say a goal that is not in writing is merely a fantasy. And everyone has fantasies, but those fantasies are like bullets with no powder in the cartridge. People go through life shooting blanks without written goals and that is the starting point” – Darren Hardy, The Compound Effect

So to summarize, We can get EVERYTHING we WANT but it goes beyond just putting it in our mind once every month, quarter or yearly (remember those new years resolutions?) Our futures are bright but once we know what we want lets start taking action toward those goals and make those fantasies into our realities.
